2024 Saddle & Buckle Series
Dates & Times:
23 March - 13 April - 11 May
22 June - 27 July
Rain Date : 3 August
Lead Line begins at 9:00 am
Trail Class begins at 9:00 am
Speed Events begin at 1:00 pm (but not before performance classes are concluded)
Fees:
- Event fees will be $15 for each event and an office fee of $10 per rider
- Lead Line and Pee Wee will be $40 and an office fee of $10 per rider
- All day (6 classes) will be $85 and an office fee of $10 per rider
- Exhibitions will be $5 per run (speed events only)
Registration:
- A copy of the rules and regulations of the play day must be signed at registration to participate.
- A Negative Coggins must be presented and is required to participate
Age Divisions:
Lead LIne (7 & Under) - Assisted
Pee Wee (8 & Under) - Unassisted
Juniors (9 - 13)
Seniors (14 - 19)
Adults (20 - 49)
Super Seniors (50 & Over)
Prizes:
- Saddle Certificates**** awarded to overall Highpoint (Speed points & Performance points) in Junior, Senior, Adult, & Super Senior Classes
- Buckles awarded to all Lead Line participants who attend all 5 shows
- Buckles awarded to Top 3 (Overall high points) in Pee Wee class participants who attend 4 out of 5 shows and all three speed event classes
- Buckles awarded to the Top 3 in each of the classes, Junior thru Super Senior, for those that attend 4 out of 5 shows in Performance Classes and Speed events.
**** A saddle certificate will be issued in the amount required to purchase the 2024 design for your division saddle, for the specific measurements you desire, additional customizations can be made at your expense****

Trail Class
Trail class will begin at 9:00 am and there will be time before to walk the course. Tack and dress will follow the regulations established through the Stock Horse of Texas (SHTX), EV-210 COMPETITION EQUIPMENT

Performance Class
Performance classes will begin at the conclusion of the Lead Line class in the arena. Tack and dress will follow the regulations established through the Stock Horse of Texas (SHTX), EV-210 COMPETITION EQUIPMENT

Horsemanship Class
Performance classes will begin at the conclusion of the Lead Line class in the arena. Tack and dress will follow the regulations established through the Stock Horse of Texas (SHTX), EV-210 COMPETITION EQUIPMENT
AND ATTIRE (pg. 46) and EV-223 STOCK HORSE REINING (pg. 57), rulebook. (We will be doing a variation of this class). These rules can be found here: https://stockhorsetexas.org/pdfs/SHTX-Handbook-web.pdf.
*****For the Performance Classes you may pay class fees and enter additional horses, please make sure you designate which horse you want to accumulate points on at registration. *****
****The patterns for the performance casses will be made available about a week before each event****
Speed Events
There will be three speed event classes, clover leaf barrels, straight away barrels, and pole bending. These events will not begin before 1:00 pm. Buckles will be awarded for each of the classes to the Top 3 participants who participate in each of the events and score the highest cummulative points. You are free to exhibition any number of horses, but there will only be one run for points in these events.
Cake Walk Fun!
Between events and for a little fun we will be offering a mounted cake walk. Buy a wrist band at the registration booth to participate.

Includes:
- A 6'x3' banner placed near the participant entry gate, the highest area of focus for each rider
- A minimum of 4 PA announcements during each playday
- Sponsor's promotional table and material allowed on site for distribution
Saddle Up Sponsorship $200
Includes:
- A 4'x2' banner placed in the arena where visual focus occurs each time a rider enters the arena
- A minimum of 4 PA announcements per playday
Lucky Horse Shoe Sponsorship $50Includes:- Sponsor's name will be presented in the Registration area and Concession Stand of each playday
Vendor OpportunitiesVendor Booth $40 per eventIncludes:- Space will be provided, vendor needs to provide their own table and set up- A minimum of 4 PA announcements during each playday in attendance
Food Truck Flavors
Wicked Brisket has confirmed that they will be attending our series for the duration, they will offer their delicious menu and exceptional service. We are very excited to have them again!
Concession Stand
The arena concession stand will be open offering chips, popsicles, water, and soda for those that desire a lighter refreshment.
