About us

What we do...

The purpose of the GCSMP is to develop and maintain groups of skilled horse persons to be activated in the case of an emergency wherein the citizens of Guadalupe County may be benefited. The association's interest is in the welfare and promotion of Guadalupe County, located in Central Texas by hosting playdays, competing in drill team events, participating in trail rides, representing the organization in parades, and contributions to youth 4-H and FFA projects.

Become a Member

Be a part of a community rich in history and join the Posse. Meetings are held at the Posse Arena on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. Dues are $35 per individual or $45 per family. An initation fee of $5 is applied when you are approved for membership. New member applications can be filled out at our monthly meetings.
